Nova eNursing is a cloud-based SaaS aged care platform that helps providers manage resident care, documentation, compliance and staff operations. It supports 4,000+ beds across 4 countries. I led a complete UX and UI redesign to make everyday clinical work faster, simpler and less error-prone for nursing home staff.

The Challenge
Care staff use the platform on every shift, and core clinical workflows took too many steps and were prone to mistakes. The goal was to cut time and errors without disrupting care or breaking healthcare regulations.
My Role
I was the sole designer on the project and redesigned the application end-to-end, from navigation and workflows to the component library. I worked directly with the Product Manager and the engineering team, and delivered high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications that met business needs and healthcare regulations.
How I Improved the Experience
Creating a More Intuitive Experience
Simplified navigation and information hierarchy so resident management, care documentation, medication records and reporting are easier to reach.
Streamlined the core workflows so staff can finish everyday tasks in fewer steps.
Built a consistent set of reusable components, icons and responsive layouts for web and mobile, keeping the brand consistent.
